I stumbled across Sharon's writings years and years ago (as a teenager), and waited impatiently for every new chapter to be posted. Out of all the fanfic writers I've read, I most enjoyed her work, and always felt that it was a special treat when something new was posted (whether it was a new chapter in Song of the Seer, or Misprision, or a blog, or anything else). We never met, or spoke, or even emailed - but I felt a kinship for the woman half a world away. A kinship through common interests, and my hanging on her every word. :)
It had been awhile since I was able to sit at a computer and catch up on old reading, and (having a new computer) I no longer had the link to her page bookmarked. After running a google search, I found this page and discovered the tragic reason behind why I'd stopped seeing her posts on Livejournal. I always thought her to be a wonderful, talented, amazing woman from the blogs she posted.
I will miss her words.
I wish all the best to the family and friends that were blessed by her presence.
